From streets to sidewalks and rails-to-trails, I’ve covered a lot of Grand Rapids and the surrounding areas on foot. It’s a long standing family joke that we can be just about anywhere and I’ll call out, “Hey, I’ve run here!” Thanks to the travel that my husband’s job requires, I’ve also been able to say the same in several other states. If they’re not on my feet or drying in front of an air vent, my running shoes are safely packed in my carry-on or looped around the handle of an overnight bag, ready for our next adventure.
